The great writer Elbert Hubbard said, “The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.” Everything that takes on a material shape is a mental process first. Creativity comes from the mind: the ability to conceive solutions and to foster ideas that you did not have before you employed your thought process. Think in pictures of things that you want to happen; when you do so, more often than not, the future you envision can become a reality.
In this short YouTube exclusive, Andy explains why you shouldn’t waste your time waiting for other people to support you from the start and how you can focus your energy on putting out more productive work which will eventually feed into your belief. Andy Frisella
Once you have this desire for your definite major purpose, then you must achieve a belief that you can do it. If you believe that you can do it—see it as an existing fact—anything you can rightly wish for is yours. Belief is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
This is why the saying “I will believe it when I see it” is incorrect—you will see it if you first believe it. The belief should come first.
The successful people in this world have always been those who believed in themselves. This may seem like an impossible task, but remember that success comes from within and that when you acquire this inner belief, it will be reflected in your physical or outer world.
Once you have read, studied, and learned to believe the principles of success, you will have at your disposal the tools you need to overcome problems and achieve personal growth that will enable you to take the success journey.
Within you is this power that, when properly grasped and directed, can lift you out of the rut of mediocrity and place you among the few who make great accomplishments in life. You must learn to use this power and realize that whatever your mind can conceive and believe your mind can achieve.
Give yourself, or someone you know, the gift of knowledge.

There are no limitations to the power of the mind save only those which the individual establishes for himself, or permits to be established by the influences outside of himself.
Truly, whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve!
Study well the three keywords in the foregoing sentence because they epitomize the sum and the substance of this entire chapter.
Your success in the application of the mind-conditioning formula presented in this chapter will depend very largely upon the mental attitude in which you apply it. If you BELIEVE you will get satisfactory results, you will get them.
When you give directives to your subconscious mind, through the statement herein which was prepared for that purpose, you may hasten success by repeating the statement in the form of a prayer, and thereby place the entire power of your religious BELIEF back of your statement.
The word BELIEF is symbolic of a power that has no limitations within reason and we find evidence of its influence wherever we find people who have achieved noteworthy success in any calling.
Thomas A. Edison BELIEVED he could perfect an incandescent electric lamp, and that belief carried him successfully through the ten thousand failures before he got the answer for which he had been searching.
Marconi BELIEVED the ether could be made to carry the vibrations of sound without the use of wires, and that belief carried him through many failures until he was finally rewarded by triumph, and gave the world its first wireless means of communication.
Columbus BELIEVED he would find land in an uncharted portion of the Atlantic Ocean, and he sailed on and on until he found it, despite the threatened mutiny of his sailors who were not so blessed as he with the capacity for BELIEF.
Madame Schumann-Heink BELIEVED she could become a great opera singer, although her singing teacher had advised her to go back to her sewing machine and be content as a seamstress. Her BELIEF rewarded her with success.
Helen Keller BELIEVED she could learn to talk despite the fact that she lost her use of speech, sight, and hearing, and her BELIEF restored her speech and helped her to become a shining example of encouragement to all people who are tempted to give up in despair because of some physical affliction.
Henry Ford BELIEVED he could build a horseless buggy that would provide rapid transportation at a small cost, and despite the far-flung cry of “crackpot” and the skepticism of the world, he belted the earth with the product of his BELIEF and made himself immensely wealthy.
Madame Marie Curie BELIEVED that radium metal existed and gave herself the task of finding its source, despite the fact that no one had ever seen radium and no one knew where to start looking for it. Her BELIEF finally revealed the source of that precious metal.

The Possibility of Success
Napoleon Hill says that success begins with a Definite Major Purpose. You must have a burning desire to achieve something in life; and successful people place a value on their time, ensuring that every day is focused on making some small effort towards achieving their goal.
When I began studying the science of successful certification with the Napoleon Hill Foundation, one of the first questions they asked me was “have you decided upon your definite goal in life?”
Like most, I have a vision of what I would like to become, my goal is to become a world-leading success trainer for women but it felt a long way off. Starting out as a teenage mother on a council estate, it was a challenge to meet many examples of outstanding success but I knew it was possible because I had read about them. One of my favorite publications was Success Magazine, they wrote about inspirational people who had overcome the odds to live their dream life and this encouraged me to believe in my own possibility.
I knew that if I was on track with my purpose, I would one day be featured in Success Magazine. This gave me a plan to follow on the way to my definite goal and the actions I could take to achieve it. I would need to become an author, grow a global audience of over 100k and become a respected leader in my field. I wrote a 10-year statement of purpose which included quality time with my family, living a life of adventure, and not only working hard but enjoying the journey along the way.
Since becoming a Certified Instructor, I have been blessed to live an amazing life, author two best-selling books on success, and in a recent author interview, I was asked what would be my dream publication to be featured in. Purpose brings clarity, I already knew it was Success Magazine where Napoleon Hill himself was a contributor.
The day after that book interview, as ordered by the universe, I saw a post that Success Magazine was seeking applicants for their Women of Influence awards. The finalists would be included in the magazine and the chosen nominees put forward for future magazine features! This was an opportunity that had been placed on my path for a reason and there were only 3 days left to enter.
I checked out the current nominees and saw names like Serena Williams and Shonda Rhimes, my first thought was I am not ready, but I knew that what I had spoken out loud that day was no mistake, so I applied. In the next three days, I had self-doubts but it is often in positions of growth that your belief is challenged. On day four I received notice that my application was accepted and I am now included as one of 150 nominees from all over the world, for Women of Influence 2022.
The law of cosmic habit force allows us to co-create new possibilities using the power of thought. Believing this was possible, collapsed time frames and brought me to my purpose a decade early. I can only thank the teaching of the Napoleon Hill Foundation for showing me how to impact others and create wealth on purpose.
Napoleon Hill says of his teachings, “these instructions may, at first, seem abstract. Do not let this disturb you. Follow the instructions, no matter how abstract or impractical they may, at first, appear to be. The time will soon come, if you do as you have been instructed, in spirit as well as in act, when a whole new universe of power will unfold to you.”
I want to remind you that your purpose is possible when you believe it and invest time every day in achieving it. The Napoleon Hill Foundation distance learning course helped me to define my purpose and helped me to believe I can achieve my goals. I encourage you to enroll in the next course and learn how to apply the science of success to your life.
